Smart Water Connect - Sydney 2026

Congratulations to Chris Philpot and Clarisse Tamayao W. at The Water Conservancy for a fantastic Smart Water Connect event in Sydney this week.

Bringing utilities, government, manufacturers, retailers and community leaders into one room to focus purely on urban water efficiency is no small feat — and it’s exactly the conversation Australia needs to be having.

From shifting community behaviour to lifting product standards and using smart tech and data to make better decisions, the discussions were practical, candid and focused on real outcomes.

As someone who’s spent a career designing efficiency products for homes, it was great to see such strong alignment — from vendors right through to the point of use. Every litre saved at the tap and the showerhead adds up.
