How do I install the ShowerStar on a showerhead?

Installing your ShowerStar is a practical, quick DIY job that takes just a couple of minutes—no tools or plumber required.

Follow these simple steps to securely fit the timer to your shower pipe using the mounting cradle.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mounting cradle Take the mounting cradle and hold it so the flat end is facing up and the rounded end points down.

  2. Insert the zip ties Slide one zip tie into the upper slot of the cradle. Then, slide the second zip tie into the lower slot.

  3. Position on the pipe Place the cradle against your shower pipe where you want the ShowerStar to sit. Wrap the loose ends of both zip ties around the back of the pipe.

  4. Secure the cradle Take the pointed end of each zip tie and insert it into the locking head. Pull (ratchet) both zip ties tight so the cradle is firmly fixed and does not slide up or down the pipe.
