How do I customise my ShowerStar settings?

You can personalise your ShowerStar experience directly through the mobile app. Whether you want to change your timer duration or update your water rates for accurate savings data, the process is simple and takes just a few moments.

Accessing the Settings Menu

To access the customisation options:

  1. Open the ShowerStar App on your smartphone.

  2. Tap the Settings icon (usually a gear symbol) located in the main menu.

  3. Select the device you wish to update if you have more than one unit installed.

What you can customise

Once in the settings menu, you can adjust the following features to suit your household's needs:

  • Timer Duration: Set your preferred shower time. You can adjust how long the "Green" (safe), "Amber" (warning), and "Red" (time's up) lights stay on.

    • Alert Settings: Choose whether you want audio beeps to accompany the visual light changes for an extra nudge.

  • Usage & Cost: Input your local energy and water rates. This allows the app to calculate exactly how much money and water you are saving per shower.

  • Firmware Updates: Ensure your ShowerStar is running the latest software for the best performance and battery life.
