The TouchGrid App calculates historical water and energy cost (ie how much it cost to shower over a given period) and also includes a forecasting tool to calculate potential savings.

Data on the cost of water, cost of energy, type of heating and location are required to be entered by a user to facilitate these calculations.

The calculation methodology was developed independently by Wasim Saman, Emeritus Professor of Sustainable Energy Engineering at the University of South Australia and can be accessed here.
