How does the TouchGrid app connect to my ShowerStar?

The TouchGrid app connects to your ShowerStar device wirelessly using Bluetooth.

This means you do not need any cables or Wi-Fi to get started. The connection allows your phone to sync settings and view your water-saving data easily.

Connection range

Because the ShowerStar uses Bluetooth, your phone needs to be reasonably close to the shower unit to sync.

  • Typical range: the connection usually works within 10 to 15 metres of the device.
  • Best practice: for the quickest sync, we recommend standing in or near the bathroom when opening the app and connecting to the device.

Note: thick walls or closed doors may slightly reduce this range. However, once your settings are saved, the ShowerStar works automatically without needing a constant phone connection.
