What should I do if my ShowerStar won't pair?
Connecting your ShowerStar to the app is designed to be simple and easy. However, if you are unable to add or pair your device, follow these practical steps to get connected.
1. Check the basics
Before attempting a reset, please ensure the following:

Power is on: Make sure your ShowerStar unit has power.

Bluetooth is active: Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
2. Understand single-device pairing
The ShowerStar is designed to pair with one phone at a time.
Note: If you have previously connected the ShowerStar to another phone (or a family member has), it will not be visible to a new device until that original connection is cleared.
3. Reset Bluetooth pairing
If the device still cannot pair, you need to remove the existing Bluetooth connection to enable a new one.

Navigate to your phone's Bluetooth settings.

Find the ShowerStar in your list of devices and select "Forget This Device" or "Unpair."

Perform a Bluetooth reset on the ShowerStar unit itself (refer to the Reset Bluetooth Pairing guide for specific button combinations).

Open the TouchGrid app and try pairing again.
